Dr Jason Castro is a fine art, fashion, editorial, portraiture and contemporary art photographer and has been photographing for over 35 years and exhibiting both locally and internationally.

He has a PhD in art and philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland, a Masters degree in fine art from Griffith University and a Bachelors of Visual Arts in Media from the University of California (San Diego). He specialises in instant photography, both Polaroid and Fuji Instax and is a published academic author specialising in photography and Post Colonial theory.

He has taught photography at both at the University of Southern Queensland and Queensland College of the Arts Griffith University as well as a professional practice that includes contemporary fine art and commercial photography.
